The Azonto dance originated from Ghana and has come a long way. It has also been well accepted even in Nigeria.
And in the past, Slim Buster and Sarkodie have been at logger heads on who truly owns the dance.
But we thought the score has been settled and each now knows his place. But no, we were wrong as fresh war just started.
During a performance on TV3’s Music Music, Slim Busterr paused to interact with the audience.
He said: “Azonto is known to be a Ga dance therefore, how can an Asante-born claim to be the originator of the dance.”
This statement appears to be in response to Sarkodie’s claim that he created Azonto.
Let the war begin as we wait for Sarkodie's response.
